This is the first story in the Life of Christ section of this series. It covers the two appearances of the angel Gabriel – to Zechariah and Mary. It starts with the promise to Zechariah, Elizabeth becoming pregnant, the announcement to Mary, and ends with the birth of John the Baptist. The story comes from Luke 1:5-80.
