This story is part of the series called "The Missions Story Set," and is taken from Daniel 2. Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, had conquered his part of the known world, which included Judah. Daniel was a Jewish young man who was being groomed to serve the king as a counselor. The king had a vision that revealed the future of Gentile kingdoms through the end of time. The massive image he saw in dream showed him that he was at the beginning in what became known as "The Time of the Gentiles." God told Daniel the meaning of the dream, and it was used to elevate Daniel in the kingdom. The story is told by John Walsh.
