BibleTelling - Story of the Week

This story is part of the series called "The Missions Story Set." Jeremiah was a prophet whose ministry was during the time when the nation of Judah was carried away into captivity. It was his job to tell the people that God was sending them away, therefore, "Don't fight it." Of course this made him seem like a traitor, someone who was working for the Babylonians. The people persecuted him so much that he became known as "the suffering prophet".

This story deals with God, Jeremiah, the nation of Judah, and the armies of Babylon. It is told by John Walsh.
