This is the last story in the series "Lesser Known Stories of the Old Testament." Ahab and Jezebel had a daughter who married the future king of Judah, even though she worshipped the idol Baal. She ruled Judah through her husband, and then her son. After her son died, she decided to become the total monarch by herself. To do this, she had to kill off all of the descendants of David, which included her own grandchildren. This is the exciting story how God preserved the line of David through the one child that survived Athaliah’s reign of terror. The story is told by John Walsh.
