Elijah & Mount Carmel - Part 2

Stories

This is the second of a 3-part story about Elijah. All three stories are taken from I King 17-19 & II Kings 2. In the first part, Elijah told King Ahab that it would not rain in the northern kingdom of Israel. Three years later, Israel has suffered a drought that has almost destroyed the land. Elijah now tells the king to summons the people to Mt Carmel, and bring the prophets of Baal. There they have a contest to see exactly who is God and who is not. The story is told by John Walsh and is a part of the series, Lesser-known Stories of the Old Testament.
