This is the first of a 3-part story about Elijah. All three stories are taken from I King 17-19 & II Kings 2. This first part tells about how Elijah told King Ahab that it would not rain in the northern kingdom of Israel. God then sends the prophet to a brook where he is fed by ravens. When the brook runs dry, God sends the Elijah to a Gentile town where he is cared for by a widow and her son. God performs a miracle to keep food in the household. Some time later, the son dies and Elijah prays him back to life. The story is told by John Walsh and is a part of the series, Lesser-known Stories of the Old Testament.
