BibleTelling - Story of the Week

This is the third of four stories that happen during the "Time of the Judges." It is taken from Judges 6-8. The Midianites totally devastated the land of Israel when they came through. They took all the crops and live stock, leaving nothing for the people of Israel to eat. This story is about the person God used to free this people from this oppression. Gideon was not a natural fighter, so God had to constantly give him sign after sign that he was going to win the victory. The story is told by John Walsh and is a part of the series, Lesser-known Stories of the Old Testament.
